THE FINANCE AGENCY is seeking a part-time Financial Analyst for a remote USA-based role. The position involves building forecasts, analyzing performance, and delivering financial guidance to clients. You will adapt to various systems and industries while supporting multiple client accounts.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of FP&A or financial analysis experience and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills. QuickBooks Online experience is a plus, and you will write clear financial summaries.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of FP&A, financial reporting, or financial analysis experience required.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; building models and reports from scratch.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills for managing multiple client accounts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial forecasts including sales tracking, expense budgets, and variance analysis across multiple small business clients.
• Develop custom reports tailored to how each client operates – not just updating existing templates.
• Pull and consolidate data from multiple systems/software platforms to create meaningful financial insights.
• Prepare monthly financial updates with financial summaries.
• Support clients with ongoing financial understanding including sales target planning, cash flow planning, and expense management.
• Collaborate with bookkeeping team to ensure all reporting is current and accurate.
• Be a trusted resource for our clients and their questions to help them understand their financial information.
