Cohere is seeking a Data Annotation Specialist to join our distributed team in a part-time, independent contractor role. You will label and rank Chinese data, audit language content, and complete reading and text-based tasks with precision.

This Canada-based remote position offers 16 hours per week at 30 CAD/hour under an IC agreement. You’ll work with instructions from cross-functional teams, handle JSON/CSV/Markdown data, and contribute to model quality while maintaining IP confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Chinese; excellent command of written English.
• Strong reading and writing skills and ability to prove via a test.
• Familiarity with JSON/TSV/CSV/Markdown data formats.

Responsibilities

• Label and rank data in Chinese with high accuracy.
• Audit and correct language data across formats (text, JSON, TSV/CSV, Markdown).
• Complete reading and text-based tasks with high attention to detail.
