Job summary

Michigan State University’s School of Criminal Justice invites applications for up to five part-time fixed-term instructors to teach one to two online courses per year. Candidates with expertise in criminal procedure, criminology, policing, courts, corrections, cybersecurity, or private security are encouraged to apply.

Salary and terms are negotiable based on experience. The position recurs each Spring Semester.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Criminal Justice or related Social Science.
• Evidence of teaching excellence and/or significant work experience in policing, courts, corrections, private security, or cyber-security.
• Bachelor's degree may be required for Assistant Instructor rank.

Responsibilities

• Teach online courses to MSU students during the year.
• Position is planned to recur every Spring Semester.
