Job summary

Sagility is seeking a US-based Clinical Pharmacist for part-time engagement (approximately 20 hours per week) to act as a clinical advisor to large national accounts. The role focuses on data-driven pharmacy strategies to manage drug costs, including utilization reviews, clinical inquiries, and formulary optimization.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Master’s in Pharmacy for Registered Pharmacist (RPh).
• PharmD licensed or active pharmacist in any state.
• 8–10 years’ experience in clinical pharmacy within managed care or PBM environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary clinical subject matter expert supporting external client interactions through utilization reviews and strategic discussions.
• Provide ongoing clinical consultation to clients and internal stakeholders on pharmacy trends, formulary strategy and outcomes.
• Develop and present client-facing analyses translating pharmacy data into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with vendors, PBMs, accounts, and internal teams for program oversight and performance management.
• Participate in RFP reviews and finalist presentations, contributing clinical expertise to new business opportunities.
• Monitor market developments and translate insights into practical client recommendations.
