Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Master’s in Pharmacy; licensed Pharmacist in any state.
• 8–10 years of experience in clinical pharmacy, preferably in a managed care environment.
• Knowledge of Medicare Advantage, Part D/B drugs, Medicaid lines of business.
• Experience with multiple Prior authorization workflow systems and account management/sales.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary clinical SME for external clients and internal stakeholders on pharmacy trends and formulary strategy.
• Review account-specific utilization data and identify opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and cost efficiency.
• Develop clinical recommendations and participate in finalist presentations.
• Translate complex pharmacy data into actionable insights for clients and internal teams.
• Monitor market developments and translate insights into practical client recommendations.
• Provide training and collaborate with offshore pharmacists to build expertise.
• Travel requirements: 25% – may travel internationally or domestically for client meetings.
