Empower Home Care LLC is seeking a reliable part-time caregiver for a home-based client in the Chapel Hill area. The role focuses on personal care for a stroke survivor with right-side weakness, with no chores or pet care required.

Shifts include morning and evening blocks, with a $20.00 per hour pay rate. Responsibilities include assistance with hygiene, transfers using a sliding board, meal prep, medication reminders, and urinal management.

Formación

• Experience with stroke recovery care and one-sided weakness.
• Proficiency in utilizing a sliding board for transfers.
• Ability to follow safety protocols for lifting and turning.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with personal hygiene and morning care.
• Provide minor lifting assistance and transfers using a sliding board.
• Assist with medication reminders and breakfast preparation.
• Manage urinal positioning and emptying.
• Provide weekly shower assistance.
• Evening care including dressing and applying orthopedic devices.
