Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Palo Alto Security Engineer for a fully remote, six-week contract. The role focuses on reviewing firewall configurations, hardening, remediation, and security posture improvement across a large enterprise.

You will work with enterprise stakeholders, execute changes in production, and help drive Zero Trust and segmentation initiatives. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on Palo Alto experience, NAT, routing, and threat prevention expertise, and may hold

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Palo Alto Networks firewall administration.
• Experience with firewall hardening, rule reviews, and security remediation.
• Strong knowledge of firewall policies, NAT, routing, security profiles, and threat prevention.
• Experience executing firewall changes in production environments.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers/stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• PCNSE certification preferred.
• Zero Trust and/or network segmentation experience.

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Senior Palo Alto Security Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise security initiative. This engineer will be responsible for reviewing Palo Alto firewall configurations, performing security remediation, implementing firewall hardening best practices, and improving overall security posture. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Palo Alto experience, strong knowledge of NAT, routing, security policies, and threat prevention, and can work independently in a customer-facing environment. Exposure to Panorama, Zero Trust initiatives, and PCNSE certification are preferred. This is a fully remote, 6-week contract with potential for extension.
