Job summary

Openkrill is seeking a Junior Designer to support our fragrance brand with print production and packaging design. You will adapt existing designs for packaging, labels, and print materials, coordinating with printers and vendors.

The role emphasizes production-ready artwork and brand consistency, with opportunities to grow into digital and retail design under guidance. Reporting to the Creative Team Lead, you will handle layer-based adaptations, manage assets, and contribute to seasonal

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional design experience with strong print production
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign for production work
• Solid print production knowledge: bleeds, dielines, press-ready files
• Ability to adapt existing designs to packaging and learn digital/retail formats
• Experience with product and packaging design and brand consistency
• Excellent attention to detail and organized asset management
• Willingness to learn and experiment with AI-assisted tools
• Strong written and spoken English; able to overlap 4 hours daily with US Eastern hours

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check production-ready artwork with bleeds, dielines, and printer specs
• Adapt layouts into color, size, and format variations while maintaining brand
• Adapt labels, gift boxes, cartons, and packaging formats
• Coordinate with printers and vendors; manage artwork handoffs
• Support digital assets for social content, emails, banners, and signage
• Prepare print and packaging collateral for campaigns and launches
• Organize working files and assets; assist with photo retouching
• Develop familiarity with the brand and explore mixed-media concepts
• Follow direction, incorporate feedback, meet deadlines
