Job summary

TrueSeek, based in Lancaster, PA with remote flexibility for exceptional candidates, seeks an experienced defense attorney to join its Workers’ Compensation defense team. The ideal candidate brings strong litigation skills, client advisement experience, and a commitment to a collaborative, stability-focused environment.

Responsibilities include handling all aspects of PA WC defense litigation, drafting persuasive motions, and communicating with clients while traveling to hearings as needed.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-approved law school; PA bar admission in good standing.
• 3+ years direct PA workers' compensation defense experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel and e-document management software.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of workers' compensation defense litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, hearings, and appeals before PA W.C. Judges.
• Draft motions, briefs, and settlement evaluations with strategic analysis for employers, insurers, and TPA.
• Communicate with clients regularly and collaborate with team for efficient case management.
• Independently manage an active WC defense caseload and travel locally to hearings/depositions as required; overnight travel not regularly expected.
