Team Carney, Inc. is seeking a P-3 Flight Engineer Instructor to support the Department of Homeland Security in providing training to border security agents. The role entails teaching critical aircraft systems in both classroom and simulator settings while assessing crew competencies. Candidates must have 3-5 years of recent instructional experience and hold an FAA Flight Engineer Certificate.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a P-3 Flight Engineer Instructor, having taught within the last 2 years.
• Deep technical knowledge of the P-3 Orion's engines, avionics, systems, and emergency operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background suitability check.

Responsibilities

• Teach aircraft systems (Fuel, Hydraulics, Propulsion, Electrical, CRM) in classrooms and simulators.
• Assess student proficiency in flight operations and emergency checklists.
• Direct realistic flight training scenarios in the P-3 Operational Flight Simulator.
• Assist in developing academic materials and grading criteria.
• Maintain and upload quizzes and exams in a secure portal.
