Job summary

A local insurance agency is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Insurance Agent to drive new business through networking and community outreach. This role demands excellent communication skills and a self-starter attitude. A valid insurance license is encouraged, but willingness to obtain one is sufficient. The position includes a competitive base salary with uncapped commissions, ongoing training, and the chance to work in a supportive team environment. Qualifications

• Previous sales experience preferred, especially in insurance or financial services.
• Active Property & Casualty (and/or Life & Health) insurance license, or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and competitive mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Comfortable with technology, CRM systems, and mobile tools.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various methods.
• Conduct in-person meetings with potential clients to assess their needs.
• Present and sell personal and commercial insurance products.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects and follow up consistently.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and carrier products.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
