Qualifications

• Must hold Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery, with spine experience preferred.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Mississippi is required.
• Must be currently practicing in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and treatment plans for medical necessity.
• Apply state-specific workers’ compensation guidelines.
• Deliver clear and concise determinations within assigned timeframes.
• Participate in peer-to-peer discussions when requested.
