Job summary

Dane Street is seeking experienced Board-Certified Orthopedic Spine Surgeons to join our team of expert clinical reviewers. This is a fully remote, 1099 independent contractor role focusing on advisory reviews of clinical cases in spine care.

Responsibilities include reviewing medical records, preparing summaries, and answering client questions. Requires MD/DO, board certification in orthopedics/spine, TN license, and 5+ years of spine surgery experience.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical program
• Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery and/or Spine Surgery
• Current, unrestricted Tennessee medical license
• Minimum of 5+ years of clinical orthopedic and spine surgery experience
• Ability to attend all required orientation and training sessions
• Maintains credentialing, state licensure, and any certifications required to perform the role
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to communicate findings clearly and objectively in written form

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and clinical documentation
• Prepare clear and concise clinical summaries
• Respond to client questions related to orthopedic and spine care
• Advisory medical record reviews only; no patient care or peer discussions
