Managed Medical Review Organization (MMRO) invites Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeons to join our nationwide network of independent Physician Reviewers. This remote independent contractor role focuses on objective medical record reviews with no direct patient interaction.

Ideal candidates have an ABMS/AOA board certification and at least five years of direct clinical experience, with active practice in the last three years. Fellowship in Orthopedic Spine is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted M.D. or D.O. license in the United States.
• Active Colorado medical license.
• Board Certification by ABMS or AOA recognized specialty board.
• Minimum of five years of full-time clinical practice with direct patient care.
• Active clinical experience within the past three years.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet established review deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Perform objective medical record reviews and provide evidence-based opinions.
• Analyze records to formulate clear clinical opinions.
• Prepare concise reports that support review determinations.
• Complete reviews within MMRO quality standards and timelines.
• Use MMRO templates and address all required elements.
• Maintain professionalism, objectivity, and confidentiality.
• Respond to communications from MMRO staff.
• Participate in reviewer orientation and training.
• Incorporate feedback from Medical Director and team.
• Support quality improvement initiatives.
