Qualificações

• 2+ years hands-on medical billing, with orthopedic focus.
• Strong CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS coding knowledge for ortho.
• Experience with denials, appeals, and A/R follow-up.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.

Responsabilidades

• Review and verify charges, codes, and modifiers for ortho visits and services before billing.
• Prepare and submit clean claims and resolve payer edits promptly.
• Track global surgical periods and payer-specific requirements.
• Work denials and appeals, route front desk fixes, and monitor denial trends.
• Monitor aging AR, private-pay balances, and post payments.
• Verify eligibility and documentation to prevent front-end denials.
