Job summary

Commercial Programming Systems, Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced Oracle Application Database Administrator to join a DoD-focused EBS R12 program. You will manage Oracle RDBMS instances, ensure uptime, backups, tuning, and security across a shared-service environment.

The role requires experience with WebLogic for Oracle EBS, OCI migrations, Oracle RAC/SuperCluster, and DoD security standards. U.S. citizenship and IT-I background suitability are required.

Qualifications

• Five years of related work experience including large-scale Oracle ERP support.
• Experience using WebLogic for Oracle EBS R12.2 web tier and Oracle OEM12c to manage environments.
• Experience with OCI, including migration support.
• Experience in installation and support of Oracle RAC, SuperCluster, R12.2 and 12c.
• Experience migrating to Cloud Service Provider environments.
• Knowledge of DoD security standards and rules for databases, including CPU patching and access management.
• Security monitoring, patches, and STIGs experience.
• Designing and implementing SSO architecture using tools like OAM/OID.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
• US citizenship and eligibility for IT-I background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and respond to outages including backups and restores.
• Monitor performance and diagnose failures to resolution.
• Provide patch management and distribution with minimal infrastructure impact.
• Create and test data backups and ensure data integrity.
• Manage access rights, roles, audits, and database security.
• Tune and monitor database configuration and resources.
• Maintain system health and basic application tuning.
• Schedule and manage DoD security upgrades and patching.
• Support testing, fielding, and systems sustainment tasks.
• Contribute to security analysis work plans.
