Job summary

Take2 Consulting, LLC is seeking a Database Developer to design, develop, and optimize Oracle database solutions in a remote role within the United States, aligned with East Coast hours. The role requires strong Oracle SQL/PLSQL, ETL development, and cloud data platform experience.

You will work on data integration, analytics, and modernization projects, leveraging AWS services (Redshift, S3, RDS) and Matillion ETL, while collaborating with software engineers, DevOps, and business stakeholders

Qualifications

Five+ years of Oracle database development experience.
Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development, including packages, procedures, functions.
Experience designing ETL solutions and data integration.
Experience with AWS data services (Redshift, S3, RDS).
Matillion ETL experience or similar cloud-native data integration tools.
Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices in database environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support Oracle database solutions.
Develop, enhance, and optimize SQL and PL/SQL code for functionality and reporting.
Create and maintain migration scripts, schema updates, and deployment packages.
Build and support ETL workflows, data transformations, and batch processing.
Analyze data models, ERDs, and mappings to support requirements.
Develop cloud-based data integration, analytics using AWS services.
Build data pipelines using Matillion ETL and other platforms.
Troubleshoot Database issues, performance bottlenecks, and data quality concerns.
Collaborate with engineers, DevOps, and stakeholders in Agile sprints.
Contribute to DevSecOps practices and automated testing/monitoring.
