Job summary

DigitalOptometrics is seeking a licensed Doctor of Optometry in Tennessee to join its remote Optometrist panel as an Independent Contractor. You will examine patients through patented remote technology and work from home, serving patients in Tennessee and beyond.

You will use specialized video conference tools to communicate eye health findings and generate prescriptions for eyewear or contacts, with credentialing and training provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Must hold Tennessee OD license.
• Independent contractor status with flexibility for primary or supplemental income.
• Experience with tele-optometry or remote eye exams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote eye exams using patented technology.
• Communicate with patients verbally and visually via telemedicine.
• Coordinate with Ophthalmic Technician support to analyze eye health and generate prescriptions.
