Job summary

DigitalOptometrics seeks Tennessee-licensed Doctors of Optometry to join our tele-optometry panel as independent contractors. Conduct remote eye exams for patients in licensed states using our patented remote technology, with the option to work from home.

You will interact with patients through video conferencing and collaborate with Ophthalmic Technician support to assess eye health and issue prescriptions. We assist with credentialing and training as needed.

Qualifications

• TN-licensed Doctor of Optometry required.
• Independent contractor arrangement with DigitalOptometrics.
• Experience with remote eye exams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients in licensed states via remote technology.
• Communicate with patients verbally and visually using video conferencing.
• Work with Ophthalmic Technician support to assess eye health and generate eyeglass or contact lens prescriptions remotely.
• Assist with credentialing and training as needed.
