Job summary

Dompé has a San Mateo, US presence and seeks a Clinical Development Scientist to support ophthalmology trials in collaboration with the Senior Director of Clinical Development. You will assist study design, documentation, medical monitoring and external vendor coordination in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams, contribute to study reports, and manage content for scientific boards while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Life sciences degree with 4+ years research experience; ophthalmology preferred.
• An advanced degree (MD, OD, PhD, MS, RN, PharmD or equivalent) preferred but not required.
• Clinical drug development experience preferred but not required.
• Good knowledge of clinical research methodology and GCP.
• Familiar with literature searches and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of clinical study documents (protocols, CSRs, CRFs, ICFs).
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to enable efficient study execution.
• Support monitoring, data management, and safety reporting in collaboration with teams.
• Prepare presentations for advisory boards, investigator meetings and progress updates.
• Engage with vendors/CROs and external stakeholders for study activities.
• Organize and attend advisory boards, roundtables, and submissions.
• Support development of CRFs and data collection in the EDC system.
• Keep up to date with literature and evolving treatment paradigms.
