Qualifications

• Board certified MD/DO with understanding of network services and credentialing.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Louisiana.
• ABMS/ABOS board certification required for MD/DO reviewer.
• Must be in active medical practice to perform appeals.

Responsibilities

• Review medical files and provide utilization review recommendations.
• Assess medical necessity, appropriateness of care and return to work.
• Coordinate with Concentra Physician Review Medical Director as needed.
• Maintain credentialing and state licenses; ensure timely case returns.
• Communicate clearly with providers and other health professionals.
