Mission

At Zelestra, we are looking for a LATAM Remote Operations Center Analyst, whose main mission will be to remotely monitor ongoing projects in real time, make project-related information available to team members, and prepare periodic production reports of assets in the portfolio, among other information management tasks, with the goal of achieving the desired availability levels and maintaining continuity of remote operations (O&M, AMS, EPC, etc.).

All of this must be done in accordance with current regulations, internal procedures, instructions, and high standards of occupational safety and health, with a focus on work quality and the protection of people and assets within the organization.

This position is based in Santiago, Chile, and operates on a shift system.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure proactive and urgent detection of technical incidents to maintain high availability levels in projects.
  • Support Asset Management and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams, as well as the Global Remote Operations Center, in information management.
  • Perform real-time remote monitoring of projects, including key performance indicators, alarms, events, and activities for all projects.
  • Make information about all projects available to the team.
  • Prepare periodic reports (daily, monthly, and annual) on production, incident tracking, and monthly performance and efficiency indicators.
  • Prepare daily reports for dispatch coordinators and other market agents.
  • Manage CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System): Project modeling, incident management, notifications, and work order creation.
  • Monitor park operations by analyzing production data and recorded incidents.
  • Track maintenance tasks, improvements, updates, and the integration of new plants into the ROC portfolio management system and the maintenance management system.
Job Requirements
  • Professional degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in operations and maintenance tasks or as a Remote Control Center Technician (preferably in renewable energy projects).
  • Experience in preparing technical reports on key KPIs.
  • Experience using maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Knowledgeof electricity markets.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and predictive analysis to improve operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of control systems, automation software, and PLCs used in renewable energy plants.
  • Proficiency in Reporting Software (PI OSIsoft, SAP, or ERP systems) at an intermediate level.
  • Intermediate level of SCADA proficiency.
  • Native Spanish speaker.
  • Intermediate level of English.
  • Availability to work in a shift system.
