Job summary

Zekai is seeking an OpenSCAD Developer for a 100% remote contractor role to support an AI training project. You will create and modify 2D and 3D CAD models, write parametric scripts, and document workflows step by step.

Responsibilities include coding with loops and reusable modules, applying Boolean operations, troubleshooting designs, and producing clear prompts for CAD modeling tasks. English proficiency required; master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• OpenSCAD experience required.
• Parametric/script-based 3D modeling.
• Strong knowledge of OpenSCAD syntax, modules, functions, and Boolean operations.
• Ability to create accurate and complex CAD models.
• Access to OpenSCAD and ability to record screen while completing tasks.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Ability to explain technical workflows clearly.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD models using OpenSCAD.
• Develop parametric models using scripts, loops, and reusable modules.
• Work with Boolean operations, transformations, and extrusion techniques.
• Troubleshoot modeling issues and optimize CAD designs.
• Complete advanced OpenSCAD tasks and explain workflows step by step.
• Create clear instructions and detailed prompts for CAD modeling workflows.
