Job summary

Remotebridge is seeking an OpenSCAD Developer for remote contract work. You will create and modify 2D and 3D CAD models using OpenSCAD, developing parametric models through scripts and reusable modules.

You will work with Boolean operations, transformations, and extrusion techniques, troubleshoot modeling issues, and document your workflows with clear prompts and step-by-step explanations. A strong portfolio is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with OpenSCAD.
• Proficient in parametric and script-based 3D modeling.
• Strong knowledge of OpenSCAD syntax, modules, functions, and Boolean operations.
• Ability to explain technical workflows clearly.
• Must have access to OpenSCAD and be able to record your screen.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong professional hands-on experience using OpenSCAD.
• Experience with parametric and script-based 3D modeling.
• Good understanding of OpenSCAD syntax, modules, functions, and Boolean operations.
• Ability to create accurate and complex CAD models.
• Access to OpenSCAD and ability to record your screen while completing tasks.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Ability to explain technical workflows clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

• A relevant master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
• Previous Human Data experience, such as data annotation, RLHF, or AI model evaluation.
• A portfolio or GitHub projects demonstrating OpenSCAD expertise.
• Experience with 3D printing, mechanical design, or procedural modeling.
