Job summary

OpenEd is seeking part‑time teachers to support North Dakota students and families through personalized, online learning. This role emphasizes mentorship, flexibility, and individualized support rather than a fixed course load.

Teachers will work with students and parents, conducting regular synchronous sessions and providing ongoing feedback. The position is remote, supports a 25–27 hour weekly schedule within core MT hours, and offers a monthly tech subsidy along with a benefits package for

Qualifications

• Current teaching certification in North Dakota.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding that every child is unique and benefits from individualized learning.
• Kind, organized, patient, and a dependable communicator.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.).
• Ability to learn various online tools, systems, and programs.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, and webcam.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. (remote OK).
