Pearson Virtual Schools is seeking a Spanish teacher to work from home across the United States. You will manage online instructional programs, conduct sessions, grade assignments, and communicate regularly with students and fellow teachers to maintain pacing and progress.

The role involves ensuring privacy per FERPA, providing timely feedback, and supporting students through differentiated instruction and check-ins with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and valid state teaching certificate to teach Spanish.
• Ability to obtain certification in other states as requested.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions using Zoom.
• Provide prompt, high-quality, personalized feedback on assignments.
• Communicate with students and other teachers to update pacing plans.
• Grade assessments within the required timeframe.
• Adhere to FERPA and protect student privacy.
• Hold regular check-ins with supervisor twice per month.
• Engage with students to promote success and understanding.
