Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking an online adjunct faculty member for the College of Education to deliver course content in distance learning formats, employing innovative teaching methods and current technologies.

You will facilitate weekly discussions, assess student performance, and prepare future teachers and administrators to lead with integrity, aligning with the University’s Doctrinal Statement and Mission.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Doctorate in Ed. Tech., Inst. Tech., Curr. and Inst., Inst. Design, Distance Education, Distance Learning, or related field.
• Minimum: Master’s degree in one of these fields AND two areas of exceptional expertise.
• All instructors must have a valid state teacher certification AND five years of PreK-12th grade classroom teaching experience or technology specialist or director of technology.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom.
• Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes.
• Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes.
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
