Job summary

Stanford Cancer Institute (SCI) invites applications for an OnCore Data Analyst 3 to perform complex data analysis and support oncological clinical research. The role involves building data tables with SQL in Snowflake, and presenting findings using OnCore, REDCap, and Tableau to stakeholders across the Cancer Institute and School of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in SQL, Snowflake, data modeling, and data preparation.
• Experience with Tableau Desktop and REDCap.
• Working knowledge of clinical trials.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and workflows.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems such as Epic.
• Proficiency with CCSG (Cancer Center Support Grant).
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Takes initiative and tackles challenges with enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex technical work with diverse analytical data and respond to information requests.
• Generate data tables using SQL queries in Snowflake for data extraction.
• Utilize OnCore, REDCap, and Tableau for presentations, publications, and posters.
• Prepare customized reports about Stanford oncological clinical trials and accrual for the NCI, SCI Administration, and Principal Investigators.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support clinical cancer research.
