Rigel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Regional Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as a field-based medical resource for compliant scientific exchange on the Rigel pipeline, approved products, and disease states with healthcare providers, patient groups, payors, and colleagues.

The regional MSL will build relationships with KOLs in a geography, supporting Rigel’s oncology product for metastatic breast cancer and collaborating with medical affairs on publications and research initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) is required.
• Some MSL experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry or relevant clinical experience in hematology/oncology.
• Clinical or pharmaceutical industry experience in oncology (breast cancer) preferred.
• Preference given to candidates with well-established networks and active relationships with oncologists and hematologists.
• Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and function well in cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain peer-to-peer collaborations with key medical experts in the region.
• Maintain a database of KOLs and key HCPs for the respective geography.
• Collaborate with internal Rigel Medical Affairs personnel on publications and advisor boards.
• Serve as scientific resource to KOLs and medical community with up-to-date information.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in a timely, balanced manner.
