Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. is seeking an Associate Medical Director, Clinical Development - Oncology to lead the design, execution, and interpretation of oncology trials from early development through regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or non-US equivalent is required.
• Residency completion strongly preferred.
• Completion of a subspecialty fellowship is desirable.
• Experience in blood cancers or solid tumors desirable.
• 0 to 3 years of pharmaceutical drug development experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement clinical protocols supporting product development, esp. hematologic malignancies.
• Provide clinical input to regulatory documents and publications.
• Lead clinical study teams and monitor study integrity and safety/efficacy data.
• Develop relationships with investigators, sponsors, KOLs, and patient groups.
• Contribute to regulatory filings including INDs and NDAs.
