Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a Clinician Expert for a remote contractor role focused on oncology and hematology to support an innovative healthcare AI project. You will evaluate clinical content, review trial data, and provide expert medical judgment without requiring prior AI experience.

Ideal candidates have board certification in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology with 5+ years post-training experience and direct trial exposure. Remote work options are available for qualified professionals.

Qualifications

• Board certification or specialist registration in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
• 5+ years of post-training clinical experience.
• Direct experience with clinical trials as an investigator, sub-investigator, medical monitor, safety physician, or clinical development physician.
• Experience reviewing clinical trial documents, including protocols, investigator brochures, clinical study reports, safety narratives, and DSMB/IDMC materials.
• Strong understanding of oncology and hematology response criteria and clinical endpoints.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex clinical concepts clearly.
• Experience in medical monitoring, medical director roles, adjudication committees, or independent review committees is preferred.
• Peer-reviewed publications or authorship of clinical trial manuscripts is a plus.
• Experience with AI-assisted clinical review tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Author and review clinical evaluation tasks requiring advanced oncology and hematology expertise.
• Analyze clinical study reports, safety reports, regulatory documents, and trial materials to assess medical accuracy.
• Evaluate the clinical relevance of efficacy and safety conclusions, including endpoints and treatment outcomes.
• Assess dose escalation strategies, dose-limiting toxicities, adverse event grading, attribution, and patient safety narratives.
• Review benefit-risk assessments and identify clinically inconsistent, inaccurate, or implausible interpretations.
• Provide structured, guideline-based written explanations of clinical reasoning and findings.
• Support AI model training by delivering high-quality clinical evaluations and expert feedback.
