You will abstract and manage clinical oncology data to support national cancer registry reporting, track data from diagnosis to follow-up, and input high-quality data into registries and internal databases. This full-time role requires a High School Diploma and Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification, with the ability to work independently from home.

Responsibilities

• Accurately abstract and interpret clinical data from patient medical records to identify and record cancer diagnoses.
• Track oncology patient data throughout the full course of care—from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up.
• Input complete, high-quality data into national cancer registries and internal databases.
• Maintain a consistent workflow of abstracting 5 cases per day.
• Support quality management initiatives in collaboration with Baptist MD Anderson Oncology Leadership.
• Utilize multiple data sources to ensure comprehensive and accurate patient case tracking.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain compliance with cancer reporting standards.
