Job summary

Corewell Health in Michigan is seeking a Data Analyst for the Cancer Registry to maintain the database, perform case finding, abstracting, follow-up, data submission and quality control under general supervision.

You will support reporting, system upgrades, and quality checks, contributing to annual and ad hoc analyses. Participation in Cancer Committee activities and training of new analysts are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CRM or CIM from an NCRA-accredited program.
• Related field + CRM/CIM certificate from an NCRA-accredited program + two semesters of Anatomy & Physiology.
• CTR certification (NCRA) with 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cancer database including case finding, case analysis, abstracting, follow-up, data submission, report writing and quality control.
• Produce and interpret reports; assist with system upgrades and data edits for submissions and quality checks.
• Support Cancer Committee meetings, training of new Data Analysts, and contribute to adherence with Standards of Care.
