Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical/biological science or equivalent.
• 3 years' experience in a Cytogenetics clinical laboratory.
• 2 years' experience with cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads via computerized images.

Responsibilities

• Analyze chromosomes with imaging and karyotyping for cytogenetic specimens.
• Review test requisitions for analysis details.
• Summarize results using ISCN nomenclature.
• Differentiate normal vs abnormal test results.
• Troubleshoot and document corrective actions.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
