Job summary

Jamison Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Certified Electronic Reporter (CER) for remote and in-person assignments across Michigan and beyond.

The role includes reading transcript portions upon request during investigations and ensuring notes are accurate, with arrangements for multi-day proceedings and travel expenses covered by the company. Candidates must be licensed Notary Public with E&O insurance; ready to provide proper certification; and able to coordinate with investigators.

Qualifications

• Licensed Notary Public able to administer oaths and carry Notary Public E&O Insurance.
• Willing to travel for in-person assignments and cover travel with company-paid expenses.
• Able to provide required certifications upon request.
• Experience with VTEL, Lync or similar remote support tools.

Responsibilities

• Travel to designated hearing locations as required.
• Read portions of transcripts during investigations upon request.
• Coordinate with investigators and presiding officials.
• Submit recordings via secured VPN portal after each assignment.
