Job summary

Unipharmedtech seeks an On-Call Medical Science Liaison in Psychiatry for the West Coast on a one-year contract. The role is largely remote, with up to 15% travel to conferences.

Responsibilities include providing evidence-based information to healthcare professionals and payers, and supporting field medical activities. Candidates should have advanced healthcare training (PharmD/PhD preferred) and hands-on psychiatry experience, especially related to schizophrenia.

Qualifications

• Advanced or terminal healthcare degree preferred (PharmD or PhD).
• MSL psychiatry experience preferred and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Hands-on experience in psychiatry to understand patient care and treatment approaches.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, consumers, and payers.
• Utilize medical information and MSL skills to research and evaluate literature to create responses.
• Handle requests across multiple channels (phone, email, CRM, chat, etc.).
• Assess what information is needed and depth required for response.
• Ensure documentation, high quality, and excellent customer service.
• Support field medical team with occasional field engagements and congress presence.
• Staff scientific medical affairs booths and participate in market research and process improvements.
