Job summary

Peraton is hiring an Okta IAM/Identity Integration Engineer for the DMDC AMASS program. The role focuses on designing, integrating, and sustaining identity services using Okta Identity Engine, embedding secure authentication, and aligning with DoD cybersecurity policies. It is 100% remote.

You will work across OAuth 2.0, OIDC, PKCE, and FIDO2/WebAuthn, building scalable identity solutions for DoD ecosystems and partner apps while collaborating with DevSecOps to embed IAM in CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with BA/BS, 3+ years with MS/MA, 0 years with PhD, 9 years with HS diploma
• Experience configuring Okta Classic Engine or OIE
• Public Trust eligibility and US Citizenship required
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, PKCE
• Experience implementing FIDO2/WebAuthn
• Experience with identity federation (OIDC, SAML 2.0)
• Experience with mobile authentication for iOS/Android
• Experience with REST APIs and Postman
• Understanding of NIST SP 800-63 and related frameworks

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize Okta Identity Engine to support DoD workflows
• Integrate Okta Embedded SDK for secure authentication
• Develop mobile identity integrations for iOS/Android
• Design adaptive/risk-based authentication policies
• Manage token lifecycles (JWT, ID, Access, Refresh)
• Implement API authentication with OAuth scopes/claims
• Support identity lifecycle: provisioning and deprovisioning
• Collaborate with DevSecOps to embed IAM in CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot federation and SDK integration in DoD environments
