Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an Oil & Gas Title Attorney or similar role.
- Strong expertise in title opinions, due diligence, and contract drafting/negotiation.
- Admission to at least one state bar.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and present clear strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence to identify risks in oil & gas transactions.
- Prepare and review title opinions for operations in various jurisdictions.
- Provide legal advice on leases, contracts, property rights, and compliance.
- Draft, negotiate, and review oil & gas agreements including leases and JOAs.
- Assist with litigation matters and represent the company when needed.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure cohesive legal support.
