Job summary

Danos in Houston seeks a control room operator to remotely monitor oil and gas production from a centralized center. You will track field equipment, production conditions, alarms, and operating parameters to help keep facilities safe, reliable, and efficient.

You will work 12‑hour shifts on onshore sites, coordinate with field personnel and engineering teams, analyze real‑time production data, dispatch precise responses to alarms, and maintain an online production database to support daily

Qualifications

• Experience in oil and gas production operations or ROC/control room environments.
• Ability to interpret alarms and production data for abnormal conditions.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor field equipment, alarms, and operating parameters from the central control room.
• Dispatch appropriate responses to field alarms and coordinate remote and onsite actions.
• Collaborate with field personnel, engineering, and HSSE to optimize production and safety.
• Maintain an online production database and analyze production variance data.
