Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Cancer Registry Consultant/ODS-C to work remotely. The role requires current ODS-C certification, a high school diploma (or HIM-related degree), and 3 years of cancer abstraction experience, ideally with RMCDS/SEER*DMS.

You will handle centralized registry tasks from a home setup, with a 40-hour week within CST business hours. Preference given to candidates with 2+ years post-ODS-C and central registry experience.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Oncology Data Specialist (ODS-C) certification is required.
• Three years of cancer abstraction experience in healthcare/cancer registry setting or an associate degree in HIM, RHIT/RHIA, or related health field.
• Preference for 2+ years post-ODS-C and central registry experience.
• Experience with RMCDS or SEER*DMS is preferred.
• Must have a personal computer and home internet of at least 100 Mbps for remote access.

Responsibilities

• Perform cancer abstraction and data entry for registry records.
• Work remotely for approx. 40 hours per week within Central Time business hours.
• Coordinate with OCCR/OSDH network using personal computer.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness in data submission and reporting.
