We offer a team approach grounded in education and practice, reflecting our lifelong commitment to continuing education and excellence in service delivery to children with special needs in schools, homes, and in-clinic settings. We are seeking a part-time virtual Occupational Therapist to join our team! You will evaluate patients, provide therapy, write reports, and supervise a COTA (if needed) in a clinical setting. Supportive teammates and an engaging caseload are guaranteed. Candidates must have a current and valid license issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy or be eligible.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis
  • Provide clinic-based therapy
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Supervise a COTA (if needed) to help clinic patients improve motor skills, coordination, and sensory integration
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and strategies
  • Write clinical SOAP notes
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management, organization, and commitment
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
