Job summary

The Coding Network (TCN) is seeking a contracted OBGYN coder to perform coding for a variety of clients nationwide. The role is remote, with weekly hours ranging from 15 to 40, offering flexibility for part-time to full-time commitment.

You'll access client operation reports through a secure EMR connection, code according to current guidelines, and return coded cases promptly. Applicants must have at least three years of OBGYN coding experience and hold CPC, RHIA, or RHIT certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of OBGYN-specific coding.
• Active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, or RHIT).
• US resident and eligible to work in the United States.
• Remote access to client EMR and coding workflow.

Responsibilities

• Code OBGYN medical records for multiple clients.
• Access operation reports via remote EMR connection and return coded cases.
• Ensure timely delivery of coded cases with accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
