Ascend Learning, LLC is seeking a Nursing Education Specialist to combine prelicensure nursing education with generalist nursing knowledge and develop evidence-based content for multiple products across the learning lifecycle.

This role focuses on authoring and updating content, ensuring alignment with current evidence-based practice, and supporting product development. Remote work within the United States with occasional travel is available.

Qualifications

• MSN and current RN license required.
• Five years of full-time faculty experience in a prelicensure nursing program.
• Three years of clinical nursing practice in adult medical-surgical, maternal-newborn, or pediatric nursing.
• Expertise in teaching prelicensure nursing and creating generalist-level content.
• Knowledge of NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN test plans.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Ability to conduct literature searches.
• Ability to analyze research articles for content and to write NCLEX-style items.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and internet

Responsabilités

• Create original and update nursing content including assessments, tutorials, simulations, and other products.
• Lead or participate in item review meetings with SMEs.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.
• Respond to client inquiries in a timely fashion.
• Assist with training internal and external contributors on projects.
• Conduct beta testing and QA checks prior to product release.
