Job summary

South College seeks a Nursing Clinical Coordinator for the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program. This fully remote faculty/instructor role focuses on managing practicum readiness, preceptor engagement, and adherence to accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD) required.
• Active board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC).
• Unencumbered APRN licenses in PA, LA, TN, and GA (or willingness to obtain).
• Minimum of three years of full-time clinical experience as an FNP.
• Online teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide structured support for every practicum course to ensure students meet requirements.
• Verify preceptor approvals, qualifications, and site eligibility with Program Coordinator.
• Support student clinical compliance with Clinical Operations Specialists.
• Collaborate with faculty to address instructional concerns.
• Assist in evaluating clinical site quality and learning opportunities.
• Oversee practicum courses to ensure proper instruction and outcomes.
