Job summary

Planned Parenthood Federation of America seeks a Nurse Fellow - Medical Services for September 2026 through August 2027. This telecommuter opportunity offers a 12-month, part-time fellowship with up to 15 hours per week, including possible evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate nursing program through at least August 2027 or currently enrolled in an accredited graduate clinician program through at least August 2027.
Experience: at least two years of employment experience.
Comfort with technology and with learning new technologies.
Excellent computer skills as this position will require use of Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, Asana, Smartsheet, and webinar platforms, among others.
Knowledge of communicating with diverse groups, working with a multicultural workforce, and exhibiting sensitivity and appreciation of cultural differences is required.
Must be a self-starter with ability to work with remote supervision.
Must have good oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to perform literature searches.
Must be detail-oriented.
Must be flexible.
Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must be comfortable working with telecommuters.
Must recognize the value of diversity and maintain relationships with staff and external audiences that respect individual dignity.

Responsibilities

Participates in the planning, designing, delivery, and evaluation of learning opportunities to enhance affiliate delivery of care and/or implementation of the PPFA MS&Gs.
Assists in supporting the work of the PPFA National Medical Committee (NMC), including planning, execution, and evaluation of its in-person meeting.
Reviews, edits, and creates trainings and resources to enhance affiliate understanding and implementation of the PPFA MS&Gs.
Assists in supporting the PPFA Clinical Advisory Committee (CAC), including planning for and participating in quarterly CAC meetings and supporting CAC membership process.
Participates in continuing education (CME/CE) application processes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
