Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Management and Systems Engineer in the United States. The role focuses on leading requirements development for nuclear infrastructure projects, overseeing high-level and derived requirements, and ensuring verification across delivery teams.

It requires collaboration with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders while aligning with project goals. Responsibilities include documenting requirements in a database, managing contracts and SOWs, and guiding interface

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a project delivery and people management role.
• Well-rounded knowledge of related project delivery disciplines for nuclear facility infrastructure.
• Self-starter able to collaborate with stakeholders across levels and reporting lines.
• Strong relationship management, facilitation and consulting skills.
• Experience with the Engineering Design Process, design inputs, and verification/validation.
• Knowledge of DOE orders, standards and guidelines for requirements management.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development and management of requirements for nuclear infrastructure project delivery.
• Assembles and manages high-level requirements to satisfy customer and project goals.
• Oversees derived requirements during early design and contract/SOW management.
• Document requirements in a database tool to support control and traceability.
• Assist verification that requirements are met during delivery and report outcomes.
• Support change management and assess impacts to documented requirements.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders, coordinating across engineering disciplines.
