Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Environmental/Licensing Specialist to support our nuclear environmental services team. The role can be based in St. Louis, MO (Creve Coeur) or remote within the region, delivering NRC licensing and NEPA analyses for complex projects.

You will lead NRC Environmental Reports and NEPA studies, oversee multidisciplinary studies, mentor staff, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery while developing client relationships and pursuing new work in the nuclear and energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years NEPA experience.
• Strong NEPA knowledge and regulatory guidance.
• Experience with NRC Environmental Reports and licensing reviews.
• Excellent technical writing, facilitation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead NRC ERs and NEPA documents (EAs, EISs) for nuclear/energy projects.
• Define scope and oversee environmental field studies and analyses.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Direct project development and manage scope, schedule, budget and risk.
• Provide client relationship management and proposals input.
• Mentor staff and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
