Quest Defense Systems & Solutions (QDSS) seeks an experienced Nuclear Engineer to design, modernize, and license complex nuclear power plant systems. Strong BWR knowledge and cross-disciplinary expertise across mechanical, electrical, I&C, software, and FPGA domains are needed.

The role can be performed remotely anywhere in the United States. Candidates must be US citizens or permanent residents and will translate requirements, conduct analyses, and participate in design reviews to ensure

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of nuclear power design engineering experience.
• Experience with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) systems and I&C.

Aufgaben

• Translate plant-level safety requirements into system and subsystem requirements.
• Decompose requirements across mechanical, electrical, hardware, software, FPGA, I&C implementations.
• Develop and review system descriptions, ICDs, drawings, and interface documents.
• Evaluate proposed changes to safety-related systems and plant interfaces.
• Support engineering change packages and design modifications.
