Job summary

Ascend Learning seeks a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner Educator to develop and deliver engaging NP certification review courses. The role blends live online and in-person instruction, leveraging APEA content to enhance learner outcomes.

Requirements include an MSN or higher, an active APRN license, and 5+ years of NP experience with 2+ years teaching or presenting. Remote work with occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree or higher in Nursing.
• Current unrestricted APRN license is required.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical practice as a family, psychiatric-mental health, women’s health, or adult-geriatric NP preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching or presenting at conferences as a podium presenter.
• Ability to travel and present 2–4 review courses per year.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and deliver NP exam prep content to students.
• Deliver engaging live NP certification review courses, in-person or online.
• Support APRN programs with integration of APEA solutions and content development.
• Use adult pedagogy to maximize learner retention and exam success.
• Provide content development support as a subject matter expert.
• Travel to in-person courses as needed; remote delivery for other sessions.
