The role involves engineering design, implementation, and mentorship within the company's IP/MPLS core network. Qualifications

• Minimum four years of relevant experience in a Carrier Ethernet or large ISP environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate degree may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Test new technologies and service architectures in lab environments.
• Plan, design, implement, and document new network implementations.
• Provide escalation and troubleshooting support for operations teams.

Skills

Configuring Alcatel/Nokia, Cisco, Brocade, or Juniper routers and switches

Routing protocols (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP)
